Planet of the Zers is a hit!

We were blown away by the overwhelming feedback for our performance at the Shaftesbury Drama Festival last night. The adjudicator was full of praise for the small scale production, quoting it as “slick”, “energetic” and “entertaining”.

Following on from last weeks Avon Drama Festival appearance, where we received three award nominations (winning one). Last night, we brought home another set of nominations and awards. Perhaps pleasing more than any other is the fact that both awards were for the team collectively. The first one was exactly that, for teamwork, and boy were they impressed with how our guys and gals pulled it all together so efficiently.

Then, shock horror, another award, this time for best direction, which was a collective thing among both the cast and crew. Finally, we received an award nomination for Jon Attwood under the best actor category. We are delighted that Jon was recognised for his role in the show.

Another pleasing aspect of this is that all the awards / nominations received to date appear to be spread across the team. This is a sign of a good strong well oiled production. Collectively, Planet of the Zers is a hit, and that’s because of those who have worked on it tirelessly. I thank you all.

Next up, Maidenhead Drama Festival, at Norden Farm, on March 19th. Please do visit our box office for further information on how you can come along and support this wonderful multi-award winning play.
