The podcasts are ultimately set-up for three reasons, to enhance the The Fringe Files on the whole, to maintain creative output between theatre productions and to open up opportunities for future funding. The once thriving Old Barn Country Hotel plays host to an unwanted spate of sinister deaths. However, nobody is convicted, public interest quickly wanes and the cases are filed away as unsolved. Cue Jenkins, a local video store clerk and keen amateur detective, who believes he has unravelled a pattern linking the victims. Jenkins undertakes the task of identifying the killer armed with notes written on a collection of multi-coloured post-it pads. Unfortunately events soon take a turn for the worse and suspicion becomes rife amongst the guests. Suddenly everybody has something to hide, except the cook, who’s really nice.

Please do come along and check out our performance of The Cook Did It! which opens the 2012 Woking Drama Festival at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre on October 11th (Thursday) at 7.30pm. We are one of two performances that night and tickets are just £8 for both shows combined. A full evenings entertainment! Tickets are available directly from the WDA box office.

The Cook Did It! is a fantastic show, the cast and crew have worked super hard to pull it together and we really do appreciate any support up there for what will be “an away game” for us.
