Rehearsals 30/09" href="http://www.thefringefiles.com" target="_blank">The Fringe Files are truly excited to be stopping off in the heart of Somerset with our one act whodunit parody The Cook Did It! on Nov 3rd at the Wincanton Memorial Hall where we will be performing twice in one day (3pm and 8pm!)

Tickets are available for just £3 and may be purchased through our online box office directly. Limited tickets will also be available at the door.

The once thriving Old Barn Country Hotel plays host to an unwanted spate of sinister deaths. However, nobody is convicted, public interest quickly wanes and the cases are filed away as unsolved. Cue Jenkins, a local video store clerk and keen amateur detective, who believes he has unravelled a pattern linking the victims. Jenkins undertakes the task of identifying the killer armed with notes written on a collection of multi-coloured post-it pads. Unfortunately events soon take a turn for the worse and suspicion becomes rife amongst the guests. Suddenly everybody has something to hide, except the cook, who’s really nice.

Time is drawing near for our forthcoming production of the wonderfully quirky The Cook Did It! and rehearsals stepped up a gear this weekend as we moved into a larger scale rehearsal space. Most of the technical elements have now been mapped out leaving just an overall tightening up for us to focus on. Less than two weeks left people, eek!

Please do come along and support us where you can, be it in Woking (where we’ll be opening the Drama Festival), Wincanton (2 shows in 1 day) or Bristol (a raw fringe style finale at the Drawbridge, next door to the Hippodrome). Tickets are super cheap and can be claimed through our box office. Thank you everybody! Do not leave this until the last moment, we wouldn’t want you missing out on this one!
